COELME’s approach to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Dear Stakeholders,

As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread, we want to take a moment to let you know what COELME S.p.A. is doing to respond

Our organization is no different to yours. We are first and foremost a people organization. The health and wellbeing of our people and clients comes first. We are monitoring the situation daily and actioning a number of policy directives to help protect against the spread of COVID-19, while at the same time maintaining our product and service delivery to you.

COELME S.p.A., at present, is open and we don't have any problems in the Company due to Coronavirus and there is no forecast consequence to COELME S.p.A.’s production capacity or supply, but we will keep you updated should the situation suddenly change.

However, it has to be considered due to COVID-19 pandemic the present situation in Italy is very difficult, and in particular, the movements in our region and the neighboring areas are limited, (for instance, some airports and all hotels and restaurants are closed). In consequence of that, we are suggesting our Customers to avoid any visit to our Company and, in particular, to waive witnessing of FAT , even if planned during this time because could be faced serious logistic problems.

We also confirm there is no forecast degradation of our capacity for service and support. Business-as-usual demands for our service teams include some work outside the office, but Italian and foreign governments policies to limit the spreading out of COVID-19 epidemic could have serious impact on our ability to provide service to our customer base, especially out of  Italy.

In the interests of mitigating COVID-19 impacts on the COELME S.p.A. headquarters, we have updated our stakeholder transit policy and will continually review this over the course of the event. As much as applicable, these policy directives are:

  1. Customer visits to our factory will be ceased and video conferences will be used instead.
  2. Except for the delivery of the goods, Supplier visits to our factories will be ceased and video conference used instead
  3. Our internal staff will stop travelling and video conferences will be used for meetings and training sessions as required.
  4. Existing meetings will be rescheduled to video conferences

Any exception to the above directives shall be subjected to the approval of concerned department manager and health and safety officer.

Lastly, on behalf of all of COELME S.p.A. we wish you the best of health and safety to yourself and your family during this challenge and look forward to continuing our partnership into the future.

Please contact your representative of COELME S.p.A. if you have further questions or require support.

We look forward to being of service,
