HVDC equipment comprises both disconnectors and earthing switches to be installed on HVDC plants.
It is the result of the long-lasting experience of COELME-EGIC in the field of AC disconnectors, with the implementation of all the necessary changes for DC use, such as those needed for the adaptation to insulators with big creepage distances and therefore particularly high.
The peculiarities of each DC plant, moreover, require a strong customization of the equipment, which often leads to the design and manufacturing of really special disconnectors and earthing switches.
