It is a switcher specifically designed to meet the needs of railway electrification, for applications both in overhead lines (at catenary level) and in feeder substations.
It is provided with a vacuum interrupting chamber operated by an electromagneticactuator.
The operating mechanism allows electric operations - both locally and remotely - and, unlike other similar products, both opening and closing manual operations in “on-load” condition.
Upon request, a simplified version of the operating mechanism can be supplied, which allows only the manual opening of the equipment when it is out of service.
The absence of mechanical connections between the pole and the operating mechanism makes on-site installation quick and simple and requires no adjustments.
